The three will be signing copies of Sawyer’s acclaimed book, Harry Catterick: The Untold Story of a Football Great. Kay was Catterick’s captain at both Sheffield Wednesday and Everton, winning the League Championship in 1963. Temple wrote his name into football lore, with his winning goal in the 1966 FA Cup Final – a game Catterick described as ‘the thrill of my footballing life.’
The signing will take place at St Luke’s Church, beside Goodison Park, between 1-2.30pm.
Books are priced £15 – a saving of £3.99 on the cover price – with all profits donated to the Everton Former Player’s Foundation.
In addition, a small number of the special signed limited editions of Dave Hickson’s posthumous autobiography, The Cannonball Kid, will also be available to purchase.
