Everton boss Roberto Martinez says that his side will fight right til the end of the Premier League season in order to maintain the club’s top flight status.
The Blues have been in the top division of English football for the last 61 years, and hold the record for the longest serving top flight club in English football, with the boss saying he will assess the season’s performances in the summer.
“We haven’t been able to perform in the (Premier) league,” Martinez told a news conference. “It has been a difficult season to get momentum.
“We know the severity of the situation in the league, we have 10 games, 30 points to fight for and at the end of the season we will assess what happened.”
