Everton clinch deal for Deulofeu

Gerard DeulofeuReports are emerging that Everton have completed the deal to bring Gerard Deulofeu back to Goodison Park.

Spanish paper Sport are reporting that a deal has been done worth six million Euros to bring the forward back to the Blues after spending a year on loan in the 2013-14 season.

The stumbling block was believed to be the buy-back clause that Barcelona insisted upon which means that the Catalans can take the Spanish international back to Spain for nine million Euros after one year, or 12 million in 2017.

Everton are believed to have been unhappy at including the clause at such a low figure initially, as if a player is good enough for Barcelona to want, then he is going to be worth more than nine million Euros.

Now, however, the deal is set to be concluded once Deulofeu agrees personal terms on Merseyside.
